What is an at home race?

An at home race means that even though we aren't all running together in person, we can all still participate at the same time! Kids Run at home will look a little different than our usual Kids Run events! We won't be gathering in our usual spot in Delaware Park. Instead, you will be running at home in your neighborhood! We will all be running it at the same time, sharing reports on the fun we had with our families, and creating community online.

Will I get a confirmation for registering?

A confirmation email should have been emailed to you for each registered team member. If you did not receive one please check your spam folders.

What time does the race start?

You can participate in this year's Kids Run at home race anytime on June 4, 5, or 6! Find a time that works for your family and then post photos and send us your race results on the website here when you are done!

Why is the at-home race 1.8 miles?

Good question! In a typical year, we run one loop around Ring Road in Delaware Park with all of our friends, which is equal to 1.8 miles. So- just for fun, this at-home race experience is also 1.8 miles!

Are there timing chips available this year?

For the at home race, we will not be sending out timing chips, but you can still time yourself. Plan our your 1.8 mile route, and time yourself to see how fast you can go!

Are there trophies for the virtual race?

There will not be trophies for the at-home race- but anyone who completes the race and enters their time here will automatically be entered into a raffle for a Runner’s Bundle from Project Play!

When will I get my race numbers?

You must pre-register by May 21 to get a race number, and they will be mailed out following online registration. They should arrive a few days prior to the event. If you need additional race numbers, a printable PDF is available here.
